Winchester Embroiderers' Guild welcomes contemporary and traditional textile artists, embroiderers and craft enthusiasts

Young Embroiderers'

There are 2 groups - the Winchester Group and the Cotton Reel Group.

They are for young people aged from 8 years. They meet in school holidays for all day workshops.

These take place at Badger Farm Community Centre, by the Sainsburys store and use their car park. They work on projects which can be finished during the day.

The Embroiderers’ Guild encourages Young Embroiderers Groups and likes them to show their work nationally, with that of other groups.

Here is some of the beautiful work our Young Embroiderers' have been doing over the Easter period. It shows some very careful and varied stitchery - they should be very proud.

This year it was the turn of Winchester to host the SEW Regional day and there were a good number of entries from the regions Young Embroiderers. Look at the entries and who won prizes.
