Meeting Reviews

Anne Hellyer (Moore) was excellent and several members have put forward a request that she runs a workshop in the future. Her work was also on show at the Zero Nine Textile Art Exhibition 2017 at the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens.

With Judith being taken ill and unable to give her talk, we were extremely lucky to have another member step in at short notice and give us an entertaining and inspiring talk. I’m sure everyone would like to thank Jayne for stepping up and to wish Judith well for a speedy recovery. (We noticed how much Judith does when she wasn’t there!) Further notes of appreciation go the the gentleman that operated the audio/visuals at the meeting. He was obviously listening because he focussed in on objects at the right moments and put the sound back on when we finished and came back. Excellent service!
