Discovery Centre Exhibition 2020

Exhibition at City Space, Saturday 25 January to Sunday 22 March 2020

We are very pleased that City Space has now offered us a slot for our exhibition. Please make a note of the dates in your diary.

Planning is already underway. The most immediate things we need to decide are an image for City Space promotions and the name of the exhibition. Branch members can refer to the July Newsletter for more information about this.

We will need volunteers to help the Sub Committee, throughout the process. These will be small jobs such a gathering in exhibition fees, accepting work in at the start of the exhibition. Nothing too onerous. Please speak to one of the exhibition sub-committee if you would be willing to help us.

Exhibition Regulations and Entry Forms

Entry forms and exhibition fees are due in at the October meeting. This does not mean that your work has to be complete by then. Or even started! But we do need an indication of what you are hoping to submit, for planning purposes.

Links to the exhibition regulations and entry forms for pieces of work and for cards are given below. The sub-committee would prefer that you download the word version (doc) of the entry form, save with your name in the word file, complete the word document and then send as an attachment to in an email to Liz Frampton (her email address is in the members section of the website). Only use the pdf version if you are unable to complete the form in Word. If you would like to sell cards please download and print off the card entry form, complete and then submit with your cards.

Sales Table

Thanks to everyone for donating to the sales table and please don’t stop giving, anything however large or small is welcome and if you need any help with picking up or transporting please contact Teresa. Give donations to Teresa and she will add them to the sales table. Due to everyone’s generosity both with supplying and buying from the sales table we are going to have a donations box for you so you can browse and then drop your contribution into the donations box rather than having to be ‘observed’. Please give what you feel is appropriate for the items you have. There is no minimum or maximum and we just ask that items that may be a little more special such as say gold threads are considered in the level of donation if you can.
